Yeast is essentially a microorganism found in nature. This is the answer to the question of what is yeast in one sentence! However, the use of yeast is not limited to these. There is also yeast in soy sauce, vinegar, salad dressings, pickle varieties, ketchup and mustard that are used to sweeten the dishes. In addition, yeast is frequently encountered in the content of beverages. There are also some dairy products where yeast is found naturally. Some examples of yogurt, kefir and some immature cheeses are examples.
